Applications for the Pitch Competition have closed, but don’t worry, you can still attend the pitch competition to watch the applicants pitch to the judges on October 6!
If you’re interested in participating in the hackathon, we encourage attending the pitch competition to meet the applicants and see if they are looking for teammates with your skillset – tickets are free.
Saturday, October 6
Watch teams present their project ideas to the selection panel.
The NHW Pitch Competition is your chance to pitch a project, inspire other hackers to join your team, and impress the panelists for the opportunity to go through a week of expert tech consulting.
Listen to our new podcast with our pitch competition coordinator, Jeremy Raley, talk about the competition and how to make your pitch stand out to the judges.
Participants are encouraged to apply before the deadline on September 19, 2018. Up to 12 individuals will be selected to pitch their projects at the event, based on the application. Selected participants will receive feedback on their pitches to prepare for the event from advisors provided by the Nashville Entrepreneur Center.
The night of the competition, all 12 individuals will each have five minutes to pitch their projects. A three-person panel, using predetermined criteria, will score each project. The top four projects selected will be invited to receive expert coaching during the Nash Hack Weekathon consulting sessions.
Who can apply to pitch?
Anyone! Maybe you’re a developer, a marketer, or a product owner, who has a great project idea and you need a talented and diverse team to make it happen!
